API is proud to announce that its quality management system is now certified to
AS9100B and ISO 9001:2008 Standards. API’s dedicated employees worked diligently
to achieve this goal.
2009
API had the opportunity to work with TMAC and Lean Transformations through the Dallas
County Community College District. We received training in Lean Manufacturing, 5-S
protocol and accountability tracking.

With a continued focus on employee training, API employees have
participated in CNC Machinist and CNC Programming training in
cooperation with the Dallas County Community College District.

EUREKA! WINNING WAYS has come to API. The goal of the program is to
develop business-building ideas based on employee input and
analysis.
As a result, President Karla Chandler and machinist Klair Rogers
were invited to participate in the Texas Manufacturing Assistance
Center (TMAC) state conference panel on the EUREKA! WINNING WAYS
program.
Watch for the results of this project in the days to come!

API, as part of the AMTEC manufacturing consortium, has been
awarded a grant from the Texas workforce Commission Skills
Development Fund Program for customized training in the
manufacturing industry.

API Precision Machining provided classroom space
for the NTMA Blue
Print Reading class. Four companies participated in the
training event. More classes will be scheduled for Spring,
2008.

API Precision Machining has been awarded
a grant from the Ft. Worth Avenue Development Group. The
grant is awarded to provide improvements to businesses in
the growing Dallas/Ft.Worth Avenue Business Corridor.

arrival of a new Leadwell CNC lathe to increase capabilities
and
service to our customers.
Our new lathe will more than double our capacity for turning
length at 42” on centers.
